This is insane! People got mad at her for calling that Jay-Z & Lange song by its title, but it’s more awkward to avoid using the word! If it isn’t being used as a direct slur I don’t believe this word should have as much weight as people give it. Sticks & stones, people.

She was engaged to him, then left for Dr. Phil’s hot son, then that didn’t work out so homegirl came to her senses… I mean, this is a billionaire who said he’d never get married again, & she trapped him! May Gray Brings June Revival!
Today is June 2nd - it’s officially summertime & it feels so good to have walked through the last door of a big chapter in my life: SCHOOLIN! Those of you who have been following me for a long time know that I have a list of New Years Resolutions, aka things I plan to accomplish by the end of the year, & I am already making amazing headway not even at the halfway point of 2012.
#1 is Learn to Cook. Follow me on Instagram (@DollyCalifornia) to see my amateur creations! Thus far I’ve kept it pretty basic but yesterday I took a risk & cooked beef for the first time EVER! Ground beef stir fry, to be exact…. it’s honestly the kind of shit you’d put in a taco shell, plus broccoli. But oh so delicious! Another win for me.
#2 is to earn my Bachelor’s Degree & I did that! People give communications a lot of flack as a cop-out degree but learning how to interact with people in a constructive, productive way is more valuable than any technical knowledge, because if someone likes you they’re more willing to hire you AND coach you! If you follow me on Twitter (@DollyCalifornia) you’ll see a lot of my daily thoughts & struggles with people who lack the social skills I got to learn in school… sometimes even basic common sense is asking too much of my generation.
#4 is Pay Rent for Myself! Check. I’m a grown up. Soooooo annoying ;)
#5 is to go to Vegas with my girls, which I’m kind of doing next weekend! Myself & my best friend Amanda will be going to LV for a few days, to dance our asses off at EDC! if you don’t know what that is - Google it. Then spare me the jokes about doing ecstasy, lol, some people really do just like to dance ;) Granted this isn’t what I meant specifically, I do still want to get out there with a big group of my favey babies. But it counts! First time in Vegas as a grown single gal, we plan to look really slutty & have an amazing time! No regrets haha
#7 is Audition for a Show which I technically accomplished by applying to be a human canvas on InkMaster buuuttttt not so sure how much that counts & I still may like to try out for another show later this year…. stay tuned ;)
#10 is Become Moderately Trilingual - I did do well in my French class. Not so crazy about French like I adore Spanish but I am making it my mission to continue studying them both so my skills in each are sufficient for basic human interaction.
This blog has been very much a diary for me, keeping YOU my friends informed of my many adventures - it will continue to be that, so don’t worry! However my life i not always as exciting as we wish it was, so I have some exciting new stuff planned for our time together. There won’t be any more #FridayFunChat because some Fridays I don’t have time & you’re left out :( also no more #MovieClub Mondays… I sort of realized the reason I’ve never watched those movies is that I don’t give a shit about watching them. Very counter-productive to the club.
Instead I wish to bring you into a whole new part of my life - my eccentric obsession with all things media related! I want to start sharing more of my passions with you by talking about which books I’m reading, which movies I’m watching, what kind of people I’m meeting, what news interests (or terrifies) me, which music I’m loving & soooooo much more!
And on top of all that I want to let you into my personal thoughts & experiences through some new weekly entries such a the #HumpDay Horny Girl Sermon, Sunday Song of the Week & the Wkend Calendar! These new additions will keep things more interactive as we go out & enjoy life together! – Thought of the day <3These are some photos that prove LiLo is really playing Elizabeth Taylor. I kind of didn’t want to believe it (although it is still a Lifetime movie - not hating, just distinguishing our budget, here). I mean I used to be the biggest fans of hers but now I sort of just love to hate her :/ Honestly the plastic surgery has ruined her beauty, the dying has ruined her incredible natural hair color, yes she still has amazing breasticles but we all know the girl’s acting skills have deteriorated significantly since Mean Girls. Who cast this? I kind of think it’s for publicity, because Jennifer Connelly would have perfect for it - not to mention she looks younger than Lindsay. And oh yeah while we’re at it, Megan Fox should have been Snow White, not that boner K-Stew. Which brings me to my next point!… I’d be great at casting films ;) lol we all have an opinion!
Yes, even in the midst of divorce I am OBSESSED with this song - that’s how pretty it is. And let’s be honest, we love Jason Mraz. He’s a less douchey John Mayer. A less repetitive Jack Johnson. A more indie Gavin Degraw. And the man can write a love song: “I’m Yours” anyone? Duh. xo Dolls
